In this chapter we both provide information on the set up of software for particular video chipsets and review software for viewing and modifying Video.
A clean install of Debian GNU/Linux is most likely to find your DVD-R, DVD-RW, or DVD-ROM drives without the need for you to do anything. If not, then the information in Section 14.1 might be useful. For information on CDs, including audio and data reading and writing, see Chapter 14.
